Scope of the Workshop
The main idea of the meeting is to help scientists from South Eastern Europe interested in the computational treatment of biological systems to learn about the latest advances in the field and to exchange ideas. In particular, the meeting should provide young scientists with an overview of computational solutions in the life sciences, and give them oportunity to present their own results. Also the meeting should serve them as a starting point from which to decide which methods to use in their own research. The meeting should provide a stimulus for scientists from South Eastern Europe and Germany to make contacts and establish valuable collaborations.
We hope that this meeting will trigger new activities in the field of computational biology in this region of Europe.
